So after the last boat trip it was discovered that yet another through hull fitting had broken off. This lead to great concerns about the integrity of the rest of the through hull fittings. Considering that one failed fitting can sink a boat quiet easily it was decided that it was time to change them all. Also took the chance to replace the mooring chain in preperation for the winter storms. These two jobs combined to take up all my time with no sailing at all for two weeks what a bumper. I guess that is what they say about being a boat owner spend so much time working.
